A tennis holiday by yacht vs. a typical tennis holiday

Tennis by Sea plans private, crewed yacht trips around Bodrum, Türkiye, centered around tennis. Compared with a typical resort or academy, you play as much or as little as you like, according to your own schedule, and experience the food, culture, and scenery more fully.

At a glance

Why groups choose Tennis by Sea

  • Fresh courts each day, swim in coves only reachable by boat, experience local food and culture
  • A few casual conversations plan the whole trip, from courts to meals to routes
  • Play for every level, with court time shaped around your group
  • Your room aboard travels with you nearby, no time wasted in traffic or lengthy drives
  • Just your group, looked after by a captain, crew and chef
  • A quiet, private base between events, with time to rest and recover

A tennis camp or resort may suit you better if…

  • You want intensive coaching and technical improvement above all else
  • You’re traveling solo and want to meet other travelers (e.g. singles)
  • You want the lowest cost, or one fixed all-inclusive price
  • You’d rather stay in one place on land
  • You need junior programs or on-site childcare

Not sure? Tell us about your group and we'll give you an honest answer. Get in touch.

What's different about it

Between tournaments or tours?

A quiet, private base with daily hitting, a swim and a chef can make a good reset between events. Where yacht calendars allow, we can plan a shorter stay around your dates.

What it costs

One yacht, shared by the group, so the per-person figure falls as the group grows. As an illustration, 8-10 guests for a full week come to roughly €3,000–4,500 each, all in, covering the yacht, crew and chef, VAT, provisioning, court fees and airport transfers. Flights and lessons are extra. Exact figures depend on the yacht, dates and group. More on cost.

Questions

A private, crewed yacht trip built around tennis. You sleep and eat chef-prepared meals aboard (with a few onshore dining experiences), play on courts along the Bodrum coast in the mornings or afternoons, and spend time in between swimming, sailing and exploring. Every trip is planned around your group. See how it works.

A camp or academy centers on coaching, usually with a fixed daily schedule and shared groups. Tennis by Sea centers on playing: a private group, a flexible schedule and a different court each day, with lessons optional. It's more about the overall pleasure of both the tennis and travel experiences taken together. If your main goal is structured technical improvement, a dedicated academy may suit you better. If you want tennis and travel with friends, this is built for that.
